Out with the old in with the new.

A great deal of stuff has happened since the last journal entry .. in November. In fact there is little that hasn't changed. But it's all changing in a very positive way that leaves me feeling extremely optimistic.

I am however well aware that there's been no new art up here for an extremely long time, but with good reason. Over the past few months I've been trying to refine my style and experimenting with new techniques and mediums to achieve a way of working that I feel happy and comfortable with. It's not there yet but it's getting close.

So, rest assured that there is something on the way. A mixture of old, very old, newish and still experimental rolled all into one fun exciting ball. I'm very excited about it and looking forward to seeing how it all works out.

Rocky time right now. But when a door closes a window opens yadda yadda. Decided to keep this account for my art (which tends to be personal), and for my photography (which tends to be for university) as I don't much want to combine the two.

It's all gone a bit pete tong!

Been on a mad favouriting and watch parade, I think it's because my course starts up soon again and all the creative juices are flowing the way they should after going on a bit of a vacation over the summer.

Moved into the new place, still needs a bit of tidying and sorting but it's looking nice.

Roll on autumn .

Moving into a new place with me other half and the little furry gentleman at the beginning of august. It's hella bigger than where we are now and i'm gona have a little studio!


In other news I walked out of my previous job and so am now currently unemployed. Yeah it sucks.


Time for breakfast x

Brought home a furbaby last week. He's called Mac and is the naughtiest little thing, but it's about time I had a man around the house. Expect photos soonish ^_^.

Art-wise university has been taking up a lot of my time but I have a few bits to upload so will do that.. will no doubt post some of my uni work up here as well soonish.

Come the 28th May I've got 3 months to concentrate on painting.. my goodness I cannot wait. I reckon I may also have to sort myself out with a shiny new subscription, oooooo.
